Throw a Sim Racing Birthday Party in Chennai

Another birthday, another restaurant table? Put the crew in two proper racing seats in Guindy and let the live leaderboard settle who drives fastest. It works for kids, teens and grown-ups who never got over cars. Turn the game's help on and our team has first-timers lapping within a couple of minutes. The competitive streak arrives on its own.

Run it as a tournament

Every lap posts to the live leaderboard, so a birthday group turns into a competition on its own. Fastest lap of the day takes the bragging rights, and the group photo by the big screen.

No experience needed

Switch the game's help on and it brakes and steers to keep you on track, so total beginners are lapping within minutes. Fun first, competitive second.

Two seats, side by side

Groups rotate through short drives, so nobody's stuck watching. The rigs are networked too, so any two of you can jump into the same F1 race and settle it head to head.

/// GOOD FOR
  • ▸ Kids' and teen birthdays with a car-mad guest of honour
  • ▸ Milestone birthdays for the friend who quotes lap times
  • ▸ Up to four taking turns on a normal booking — or the whole place, privately, for a party of up to twenty
QUESTIONS

BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ANSWERED.

How many people can you take?

Four on an ordinary booking, counting the birthday one: two driving, two up next. For a bigger party, book the place privately — a private session is both rigs and nobody else for two, three or four hours or the whole day, for up to twenty guests rotating through the two seats. The maths is worth doing first: two seats, times the hours, shared between your guests — twelve kids over three hours get about half an hour of driving each.

What does a birthday group actually do?

Take turns in the two seats, and race each other on the F1 game over the LAN when you want to settle something. Every lap posts to the live leaderboard on the big screen, so it turns into a shoot-out on its own — fastest lap of the day takes the bragging rights.

Nobody in the group has raced before. Does that matter?

Not at all. Switch the game's help on and it brakes and steers to keep you on track, so total beginners are lapping within a couple of minutes. It levels things too: with help on, the one who has never touched a wheel can take the fastest lap off the gamer.

Do we need to book, or can we just turn up?

You can walk in whenever we are open — noon to 8 PM, Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays. For a birthday, book: a slot for up to four at boxboxbox.in/book, or a private session for a bigger group, which holds the place while we call you to confirm. Weekend afternoons can queue for walk-ins.

Up to four? Book both seats at boxboxbox.in/book — two drive at a time and swap. A bigger party? Ask for a private session at boxboxbox.in/book?private: the whole place for two, three or four hours or all day, and we'll call to confirm the day. Want a cake on the table? Say so in the request.
